Butoh performance art workshop , GAL

This weekend I had the opportunity to do some storytelling of a Butoh dance workshop hosted by the Guerilla Art Lab in Nottingham and run by Chicago-based performance art expert Holly Chernobyl , currently touring the UK.

The Participants were split into two groups of three and worked on using the movements of the Butoh practice to develop their own rhythmic dance performance which were documented through this series of images.
